Google acquire Zetawire, and may add Mobile payment to the next Nexus S
According to the 451group, Google may have acquired Zetawire a torronto-based start-up. The most valuable asset of this start-up is a patent that provides for mobile banking, advertising, identity management, credit card and mobile coupon transaction processing.
These features would allow a consumer to make purchases using their smartphone instead of their credit card.
Google could, via NFC chips, rebuild the complete customer cycle, from the reception of advertising up to the purchase of a product.
